Okay, discovered via the internet a way to keep out spambots without captcha. It's kind of ingenious - basically create a hidden form field so that humans won't be able to fill it in, but bots will because they fill in everything. And then do a check to see if there's anything in the field, and if there is, reject it.

I've spent a whole day attempting to upload a 4-minute video to Youtube. Started at 1:30pm. It's now 10:48pm. whoo, 9 hours for 4 minutes. Current upload (3rd try) at 10%; I think I'll just leave my laptop on through the night on screensaver, because it took so long to get this far. the IE CSS float bug sucks so much. I hate it.
